Children's Contract
with Adult
| 1.) I will *not*
respond to any messages that are mean or in any
way make me fell uncomfortable. If I get a message
that is inappropriate I will immediately tell a
grown up or adult. |
| 2.) I will *never*
agree to meet someone online. Any meetings that
do occur will be in a public place with the permission
of my parent or guardian. I will *never* go alone
to meet someone. |
| 3.) I will *not*
send or post my picture online without permission
from my parent or guardian. |
| 4.) I will *not*
release personal or private information online that
could be used inappropriately. |
| 5.) I will *not*
post obscene or inappropriate comments online. I
will *not* post or e-mail anything that others would
consider offensive or mean. |
| 6.) I will do my
best to be respectful of other cultures when posting
or emailing. I understand that things can have different
interpretations in different cultures. |

Adult's Contract

| 1.) If a child comes
to me because they are uncomfortable with something
online, I will be supportive and help them work
through the problem. |

take away online privileges if my child is honest
and forthcoming about information that they have
encountered online. |
| 3.) I will be honest
and assist my child with any inappropriate information
that they encounter. |
| 4.) I will encourage
my child to explore safely online but agree to try
to remember what it was like to be a child. |
