General Safety Guidelines for Children :

1.) Door to door solicitations are dangerous for children even when supervised by an adult. It is best to prohibit door to door solicitations.

2.) Abductors or molesters are often people who have some type familiarity with the children. Teach children its okay to say no to adults if they are uncomfortable.

3.) Know where your children are at all times. Know there routines, friends and aquaintances.

4.) Listen to your children be open and honest in discussions. It is important to have an open communication.

5.) Teach children that there body is special and private, it is not okay for any adult to touch areas covered by a bathing suit.

6.) Teach your children not to hitch-hike or get in a car with someone without parental permission.

8.) When in a public facility always accompany children to public restrooms.

9.) Encourage children to avoid adults asking for assistance or directions of any kind.

10.) Take an active interest in your childs activities. Encourage open communication trust and support in your home.
