Home Alone :

Safety for children who are home alone!

1.) Don't enter your home if doors are open or windows are broken.
2.) Be sure to check in with a parent or an adult when you get home.
3.) If you recieve a phone call don't tell them you are home alone, just take a message for your parents.
4.) Don't advertise to friends or aquaintances that you will be home alone.
5.) Don't have friends over without your parents permission.
6.) Don't open the door or let strangers in the house.

 

Cooking safety for children who are home alone!

1.) When cooking be sure pot handles are turned in.
2.) Don't wear loose clothing or long sleaves
3.) Put a lid on a grease fire, do not use water.
4.) Keep appliances and electrical cords away from corner edges
5.) Becareful moving hot liquids from a microwave, and check the floor for animals or toys.
